That was unbelieveably embarrassing and pathetic. The entire Denver Nuggets organization should be ashamed of that performance.

I have never heard such unabashed disappointment from you Jeremy. I like it. Didn’t watch the game but it’s hard to like that boxscore. Hmmm… Some work to do on D still I suppose.

There were more layups and easy follows than I’ve ever seen in that game. It looked somehow even worse than last year’s playoffs. Kobe, Pau, Bynum and Ariza are just too much for this team. I don’t think that right now anyone matches up well with the Lakers, and we were simply outmatched.

It didn’t help at all that our defense was lackadasical, our offensive uncoordinated, our rotations slow, and our ball movement anemic.

Awful performance. Hopefully we can rebound – pun intended – against the Bulls on Sunday.

Just watched the highlights

Some really awful stuff; one thing that jumped out at me was Melo’s innaccurate outlet passing. This was an issue against the Spurs as well.

Did you guys think its ok to put this down to an-out-of-this-world Lakers squad?

Not much to say about that other than the Lakers are by far the best team in the NBA right now.

They simply dismantled us on both ends of the floor. As I suspected, we had no answer for Gasol and Bynum in the paint as the Lakers made layup after layup. Ariza looked incredible.

Kleiza looked absolutely lost on D and I watched several possessions where he was completely out of position. There was one in particular where Nene was running downcourt with Farmar? pushing the ball, and he motioned for weak side rotation, only to have the person in the post (Kleiza) completely fail to get over in time. Easy layup.

On the offensive end, I don’t even know where to start.

Missed layups, horrible passing, wide open jump shots bricked, Carmelo dribbling 12 seconds off the clock before he tries to pass or takes a contested shot, Kleiza shooting the 3 as soon as he gets the ball.

Pathetic

The Nuggets continue to nothing more than be a bunch of Circus Clowns who come to the Staples Center a few times each year. The Lakers are amused, the fans are amused. All the Nuggets do is show no play , confidence & continuous hustle.
Hell if the Lakers are so great then at least play your asses off and give it your best. The Lakers don’t have to be great to play the Nuggets ,just competent enough and awake to put up a W. Shit, after the run from Boston to San Antionio, I thought at least it would be a game.
